The Super Black Dreamcast was originally a "you can buy one if you win the drawing" DC. Basically, it was a raffle, but only you won the right to buy the Dreamcast. The initial run was a very limited number at around 200.

Sega realised that there was a huge demand for this version, and after this initial run made several thousands more.
