Apache: Air Assault features more than 16 multi-stage missions involving air and ground strike operations off the coast of Africa, the mountains of the Middle East and the jungles of Central America, each meticulously created using high resolution map data from real-world satellite photography. Apache helicopters are some of the most sophisticated combat aircraft on the planet - the player gets to fly multiple variations of them, each with their own extreme firepower and highly-detailed damage modelling. 18 diverse action oriented missions: performing air and ground strike operations in present day and near future global terror hotspots. With missions in south-east Asia, Somalia and Brazil the player always has something new to see.Extremely realistic environments: map data is taken from satellite photography offering players a high resolution visually detailed representation of real world locations. Multiple difficulties: go straight to blowing stuff up with the easy-in Arcade action difficulty, or test your skills and earn extra gamer points with the realistic Simulator setting.Multiplayer: show off your real skills in competitive online multiplayer matches – team deathmatch, ground attack, capture the flag and free-for-all. A full co-op campaign mode offers the option to play through the story side-by-side with a friend.Authentic helicopters: The game is focused on different models of the Apache AH-64D but players will also be able to pilot multiple varieties of the Apache. All aircraft have highly detailed damage modeling with over 100 points of contact.
