Ryu ga Gotoku

Kikizo interviewed Toshihiro Natoshi, the director of "Ryu ga Gotoku." The new Shenmue-like game


KIKIZO didn't ask similarities between Ryu ga Gotoku & Shenmue because this could make Nagoshi angry and he says" hey you KIKIZO do you think I made a copy from Shenmue....
BUT....Nagoshi San(himself)told KIKIZO...."What are they"....If you read them carefully you can find them easily....here is what I found...

According to KIKIZO's Interview with Nagoshi...similarities between Ryo ga Gotoku and Shenmue are these...

1-It's Free(Like Shenmue's genre)
2-It have a stron story that will make it RPG too,(Like Shenmue)
3-Action scences by Fighting(Like Shenmue but in a free style)
4-Existence of mini games,slot machines & Sega-Sammy machines
5-Cinematic gameplay and heat breaking movies during the game
6-& many other things in the way you can act in the game
7-And more you will see when you get a chance to play it on your sony's console

Even Nagoshi mentioned Shenmue with Virtua Fighter...(in comparing Ryu ga Gotoku's fighting style with them)

I think he has made a real copy of Shenmue by changing the story
....and He wants to be like Suzuki San in SEGA...
"But it's too soon for him to be like that"mybe in NEXT GEN
Even he likes Ferrari....(Like Suzuki san and Naka san)

Therefore we can say again "It's a Shenmue-Like game"
but with a diffrent story(because of violence & dramatic story line)

But about foriegn release he said

In other word they'll bring it to Europe and the US too.....
