As everyone should be aware, this years E3 was very much coloured by two new portable hardware previews. Even though some will probably argue that the realistic Zelda or Halo 2, or even Out Run 2 was the most interesting at the show - the fact that Sony and Nintendo both will have a (more or less) revolutionising machine out at the end of the year, must clearly be the most significant. Sony, with their PSP, aims to make every known technology know to modern man portable, whereas Nintendo with their DS aims to revolutionise the way we consider (portable) gaming. Two goals not easily reached. (but with the SegaTon announcement of The Matrix online, the two arch rivals at least do not have to fear the (supposed) mighty Sega Prometheus....)
