Nintendo og Capcom har i dag bekræftet at Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate udkommer til Nintendo 3DS og 2DS i Europa i starten af 2015.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate er nyeste skud på stammen i den populære Monster Hunter-serie, der foreløbig har solgt i over 28 millioner eksemplarer. I Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate kan spillerne indtage rollen som jæger, der tager følgeskab med en karavane for at udforske nye land og byer undervejs. Dette storslåede eventyr vil indeholde hundredvis af missioner for at bekæmpe fantastiske monstre, som nedlagte byder på ressourcer til våben og udstyr.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate repræsenterer seriens største spring fremad med mere nyt indhold og spændende funktioner end nogensinde tidligere. På et håndholdt system er det desuden første gang, at spillerne kan forenes op til fire personer online via Nintendo Network – samt via lokal trådløs forbindelse som i tidligere spil i serien.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate har fået et udvidet repertoire af handlinger, som vil skabe mere dynamiske jagtoplevelser med flydende klatrebevægelser og evnen til at hoppe i angreb fra vægge eller afsatser. Desuden vil spillerne kunne ride på et monster i begrænset tid, mens de hænger på og leverer angreb.
I tillæg kommer der to nye våbenklasser, udfordrende nye monstre og utallige steder at besøge, som alt sammen gør Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate til den mest robuste jagtoplevelse til dato.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate release date and New Nintendo 3DS XL Edition confirmed
Capcom and Nintendo today confirmed that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be released on February 13, 2015 alongside the newly announced New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL handheld systems. A special New Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Edition including a slick custom-designed New Nintendo 3DS XL system and the game pre-installed* will also release on the same day.
Join up with a traveling caravan of hunters to explore new lands and battle ferocious enemies in pursuit of the ultimate hunt. Play alone in a robust single player experience or join up to three other players locally or, for the first time on Nintendo 3DS, online using a wireless broadband Internet connection. By playing the game on New Nintendo 3DS or New Nintendo 3DS XL, players can experience C Stick functionality and super-stable 3D that makes for more immersive gameplay.
Starting today, select Monster Hunter fans will receive early access to an exclusive demo for the game that includes both single and online multiplayer options. A version of this demo will be available to all consumers in the lead up to the game's launch on February 13.

Capcom are pleased to confirm that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for Nintendo 3DS systems has shipped one million units to retail in combination with digital units sold since its release across Europe and North America on February 13, 2015. The game has now become the fastest selling and has the highest Metascore of any Monster Hunter title in the West.
Capcom continues to support Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate with free of charge monthly downloadable quests and content that began in March and will be available for several months to come. The monthly packs are available on the first Friday of the month and include even more challenging hunts as well as quests to access the various themed collaboration contents to outfit hunters and Palicoes.
