Nominees revealed for Nordic Game Awards 2014
Nordic Game Awards is back for 2014. A highlight of the Nordic Game Conference, held in Malmö, Sweden, on 21-23, NGA 14 will this year take place in The Unreal Theatre, the main auditorium of Slagthuset, on 22 May at 18:00. Host of the show will be Nicolas Estrup, international game media guru of Pixel.tv and TV2 Zulu fame (in Denmark at least☺).
And now, the nominees…

New Nordic Indie Sensation 2014
The purpose of the award is to recognize new talent from the Nordic Region. The nominated games in this category are found through an application process, lead by Copenhagen Game Collective, the curators of Nordic Game Indie Night. Eight games will be nominated, and they can be tested and voted for by the public during Nordic Game Indie Night 2014 on 21 May.
About Nordic Game Awards
The Nordic Game Awards is organised by the Nordic Game Institute in cooperation with Nordic Game Resources and the Nordic Game Conference. The Nordic Game Institute consists of the following game producers’ associations in the region: Dataspelsbranschen (SE), Icelandic Gaming Industry (IS), Neogames (FI), Spillprodusentforeningen (NO), and Producentforeningen (DK).
The organisations appoint the NGA jury, this year with the following members: Ann-Sofie Sydow (Sweden), Aki Järvilehto (Finland), Bjarni Þór Jónsson (Iceland), Jon Cato Lorentzen (Norway), and Thomas Vigild (Denmark).
