Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi)
Chihiro is a 10-year-old girl who is moving to the suburbs with her parents, but ends up wandering into a mysterious town. It's the "other world" of gods and monsters, which is ruled over by an old witch.
Humans who enter this world are changed into animals and disappear. Chihiro must then start working at a huge bath house to survive. Can she return to her own world? The original story and script of this anime is written by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Yasuyoshi Tokuma and Toshio Suzuki.
After the film we think there ought to be some food for our hungry guests, so let us have some Japanese curry rice here at the Information & Cultural Centre.
